ECU police investigate two assaults; one on campus and one off-campus ECU police are coming up empty as they try to find a man who attacked a woman on campus early Saturday morning.
Police say the assault happened near the West End Dining Hall just after midnight.

The woman did not need treatment for any injuries.
Another woman came under attack late last night off campus near Fifth and Student streets.
Greenville police say the basic description of man possibly in his forties indicates there’s no connection to the incident on campus.
They say the attacker headed in the direction of Fifth Street.

Neither of the victims in the two assaults knew their attacker
