Elizabeth Edwards Cancels Event

    Elizabeth Edwards was set to speak to a women’s conference in Pittsburgh last night—but had to cancel because she was too sick to travel.
    Organizers say that while she dropped out—she still participated by telephone.
    During an appearance in North Carolina on Wednesday she said her cancer is no worse today than it was 18 months ago.
