Federal judge tosses out series of lawsuits against company formerly known as Blackwater

A federal judge has tossed out a series of lawsuits against the contracting company Blackwater, now known as ‘XE’.

The lawsuits were filed by 64 Iraqis, who claim that employees of Blackwater engaged in intentional killings and beatings.
   
The judge is allowing most of the plaintiffs to refile their suits, but only if they can prove their case.
