More troops stationed at Fort Bragg reunited with their families and friends, just in time for Veterans Day.
353 paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division returned to Fort Bragg after being stationed in east Baghdad for a year.
It was a day of firsts, for many of the families reunited with their loved ones on Tuesday.
One of the wives, Caitlyn James, was able to introduce her five-month old baby boy to his daddy.
She even made little Jesse a matching uniform.
“It’s just amazing,” said James. “I just want to cry. I’m so happy they finally got to meet.“
The troops’ main duties were to transition coalition forces out of Baghdad.
