HEALTH ALERT: New study says 1 in 4 teen girls has an STD

If you have teenagers, there are some scary new statistics to share with you.
   
One in four teenage girls has a sexually transmitted disease according to a new study.

Researchers found that 24 percent of girls between the ages of 14 and 19 tested positive for one of five of the most common sexually transmitted infections, including Chlamydia and HPV also known as the Human Papilloma-Virus.
   
What’s most alarming is that almost 20 percent of girls got infected within the first year after they started having sex.
