Home Break-ins in Bertie County
Several home break-ins in Bertie County have investigators on high alert.
Bertie County Sheriff’s Deputies say six homes were broken into around the Center Grove, Early’s Station and Hexlena communities over the past few weeks.
Sheriff Greg Atkins says they happened in the morning and the thieves took guns, electronics and jewelry. Atkins says a white car was spotted in the areas of the break-ins.
