Marine Transported to Camp Lejeune Brig from PCMH

    A Camp Lejeune marine arrested in connection with the death of another marine is now in custody on the base.
    Military authorities brought Pvt. Jonathan Law to the Camp Lejeune brig Saturday night from Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
    Doctors there treated him for self inflicted wounds.
    Investigators say they found the body of Cpl. Joshua Hartzell Friday morning near the woods west of the base’s main gate.
    They won’t say how Hartzell died nor is it clear how Law and Hartzell knew each other.
    Charges against Law are pending.
