NTSB releases cause of Washington plane crash
» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

The National Transportation Safety Board says a plane crashed in eastern North Carolina because its engine lost power.

You may remember in June of 2007 a Stinson 108-2 crashed in the back of a Washington family’s home.

The plane crashed in an open field and soon after the pilots got out the plane was engulfed in flames.

One pilot was seriously injured, the other had minor injuries.

The board’s report notes that the pilots said they flew the plane the day before the accident with no problems.
