It’s less than a month until the scheduled digital transition, but the government could put the brakes on the switch.

The Senate voted to delay the transition until June 12th.

An estimated six and a half million homes are not prepared for the changeover from analog to digital TV broadcasting.

The House is considering similar legislation.

Right now, the switch is supposed to happen February 17th.

As of today it is still unclear when stations will cut off their analog signals.
