A community is struggling to cope with a shocking loss.

Monday night Fayetteville Police found four bodies. William Maxwell, Jr. shot his wife and two teenage sons, before committing suicide, according to police.

Maxwell and his family were active members of Snyder Memorial Baptist Church. The two teens, 15-year-old Cameron and 17-year-old Connor Maxwell, went to Village Christian Academy in Fayetteville. Friends of the family said Connor wanted to be a teacher.

Maxwell was a real estate developer. Police are still trying to determine why Maxwell killed his family and himself.
