A teen in the east is in some serious trouble this morning, following a stabbing incident on a school bus and at a high school Thursday.
Officials say a 15-year-old student at Swansboro High School has been charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill, and Assault on a Government Official.
On Thursday, a School Resource Officer was called to investigate an incident involving a student stabbing another student in the face with a knife and the assault of a school official who tried to intervene.
The names of the suspect and the victim have not been released.
The investigation is still underway.
The Jacksonville Daily News says the two students involved are two females and the school official that was assaulted was the assistant principal.
