A group that's against consolidating four high schools into two spent the day in court.

Folks from Martin County were in a Pitt County courtroom, waiting to see if their injunction will go to trial.

The board of education filed to throw the case out but a judge ruled that it would go to trial.

Phil Hodges, a spokes person for those against the consolidation, said today is a victory, but they still have a long way to go.

A trial date has not been set.
