Back To School Safety

Thousands of kids in the east are heading back to school and some are already in the classrooms, but it’s never too early or late to make sure your kids are safe.

Nine is On Your Side with ways you can protect your kids

If they are riding their bikes or scooters to school, make sure they always wear helmets that meet safety standards.

Also, avoid clothes with drawstrings.  They can get caught on playground equipment and other things and cause serious injuries.

And stay on top of recalled products.  If you have one, take it back to the store or contact the company.
