Caught On Tape: CA Motorcyclist Arrested

A man on a motorcycle led police on a chase across five Northern California counties this Thanksgiving.

The high-speed chase began in Truckee and ended 160 miles later in Benicia.  The motorcyclist was first spotted speeding with two other motorcycle riders.  They dropped off and he continued.

The California Highway Patrol says the man was going well over 100 miles-per-hour so the officers in patrol cars backed off and let the helicopter follow him.

The chase ended after more than two hours at a home in Benicia.  CHP says the man surrendered to officers without incident.

The name of the motorcyclist has not yet been released.
