Obama pitches health care at college campus

WASHINGTON (AP) - The health care plan from Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus is running into some trouble among some of his fellow Democrats.
Several of them say they’re afraid that a new tax on high-value health insurance policies would hit middle-class Americans who they think already pay enough for their health care coverage.
A vote in the Finance Committee could occur as early as next week, but many hurdles remain in both the House and Senate.
Meanwhile, President Barack Obama is keeping up the pressure on Congress to pass a health reform bill.
The president took his campaign today to the University of Maryland, where he told thousands of cheering college students that Congress must resist scare tactics and false accusations to do a makeover.
