Elizabeth Edwards Opens Furniture Store

    Elizabeth Edwards can add “store owner” to her resume.
    She opened a furniture store in Chapel Hill this weekend.
    She said the idea for her “Red Window” store came from a charity store her mother had when she was young.
    Former Senator and presidential candidate John Edwards was there for the grand opening.
    The new business comes in the middle of a federal investigation into whether John Edwards used campaign money to pay his mistress to keep quiet about their affair.
    Edwards shrugged it off to focus on the store and his family.
    “I do more moving furniture than anything else - this is Elizabeth’s deal but everybody in the family is trying to help support her,“ Edwards said.
    Elizabeth Edwards says she’s ignoring reports that her husband’s the father of Rielle Hunter’s child.
