School administrators across North Carolina are keeping a close eye on the winter weather system.
Districts are considering whether to release students early.
Wake County administrators say the key to their decision will be the road conditions.
Managers at Raleigh’s YWCA after school program say they’ll be ready to call parents when needed.
“We want to make sure our kids and families get home safe so we’ll make that judgment call and start notifying parents as soon as we think it’s bad out there,“ said Youth Program Manager, Samelia Jone.
Wake County Administrators will monitor the weather throughout the morning and early afternoon.
