UPDATE: Bush’s comments to entrepeneurs group

(AP) - President Bush is winding up his visit to the United Arab Emirates with a stop in the Middle East's showcase city of Dubai.

Dubai's government has declared a national holiday in the president's honor, shutting down many main bridges and roads in observance. Light rain hasn't dampened the mood in the city. Rain is considered good luck in Dubai when a foreign leader is visiting.

Bush was treated to a performance of girls stepping to Arabic music and a tour of a Dubai history museum. Also, the president had lunch with Dubai School of Government students. Bush dined while sitting on cushions with the students in a circle on the floor.

He also told a gathering of Arab entrepeneurs that Americans "respect" their religion and want to work with them "for the sake of freedom and peace."

Saudi Arabia will be the next stop on Bush's Mideast trip.
