Andrew Doud joined WNCT Eyewitness News 9 in October of 2007, as a general assignment reporter. He graduated from Elon University in May of 2007 with a degree in Broadcast Communications.

Andrew is originally from the Philadelphia area and like many people from that region, admits that he bleeds Eagles Green. While he misses his home town, he is excited to be getting his start in Greenville's, Pirate country.

Andrew started his college career in Hershey Pennsylvania at Elizabethtown College. After his freshman year, he transferred to Elon where he got started with their award winning news cast, Phoenix 14 News. In his three years with Phoenix 14, he was a sports anchor and reporter in addition to covering news. Additionally, Andrew was a midfielder for the Phoenix lacrosse team.

In addition to Phoenix 14, Andrew was also fortunate enough to have an internship with his favorite football team. He worked with ETN, the Philadelphia Eagles in house television network.

In the limited time he's not in the Channel 9 news room, you can find Andrew watching the Eagles on Sundays, the Phillies in the spring, or NASCAR ten months a year. He also loves to read Hot Rod Magazine and dream about the muscle cars he can't afford.
