Just Delete It!

The puppy giveaway e-mail usually claims that a missionary worker in Africa must part with his English Bulldog or Yorkshire Terrier pups because he can no longer care for them.

The e-mail recipient is usually asked to pay shipping fees related to the delivery of the pups.

The e-mail also promises that the pups are fully registered.

Additional funds may be requested to cover unexpected vet bills and government charges.

Personal information may even be requested to verify identity and the reputation of the puppy's new owner.

Just Delete It!

This e-mail is just a variation on the old Nigerian scam which requests a large sum of money in advance for an even larger sum that doesn't actually exist. This time it targets animal lovers and man's best friend.

To adopt a pet in need of a good home, just type in the Keywords: Humane Society right here on WNCT.com.
