The Platinum Lottery International e-mail promises $2,000,000 to it's lucky... or should we say unlucky recipient.

It even comes with this nifty, official looking certificate.

The e-mail states participants are selected through a computer ballot system drawn from over 2,500,000 addresses of individuals and companies from all over the world.

It also asks you to fill out information for verification purposes and asks that you send it back to your claim agent via e-mail.

That e-mail, by the way, is usually a personal e-mail address like Yahoo or any other free e-mail account.

Just Delete It!

Real lotteries never notify the winners. It's the other way around. If you hold a winning ticket, you notify the lottery to collect your prize. Besides, how can you win a lottery that you never entered to begin with?
