It's an email that claims a connection to a legitimate business. But is it the real thing?

In this week's “Just Delete It’, we take a look at a money mule scam currently making its way into your inbox.

This scammer ties himself to Ashley Furniture, a legitimate business. He's looking for 200 part-time employees for the accounts receivable department. He wants you to collect and forward money as part of the deal.

Just Delete It!

A money mule scam means you're engaging in money laundering.

It usually involves expertly forged checks, money orders, or other goods and services.

And as we always say, check the originating e-mail address. Official businesses don't use popular e-mail services like Yahoo, Hotmail or Gmail.
