This week we take a look at the "Dr. James Dobson vs. Petition No.2493" e-mail.
The e-mail is a new twist on a decades old petition that claims atheists are attempting to force a government ban on religious broadcasting.
It goes on to infer that the same group is trying to get all Christmas programs and carols removed from public schools.
Just Delete It!
Adding Dr. James Dobson's name is just the latest attempt in 3 decades to make it sound legitimate.
Petition 2493 does not exist and there is no organized campaign to remove God from the nation's airwaves.
