Looking to get rid of some old toys and clothes your kids had?

One email says come February 10th your donations won’t be accepted.

In this week’s Just Delete It, we take a look at an e-mail saying that February 10th the resale of used kid’s products that are not tested for lead won’t be allowed.

The e-mail says parents won’t be able to re-sell or give away any gently used kid’s clothes, books or toys.

The law says only products made after that date will be required to meet the new safety standards.

in response to an ad in the local paper for an item I have to sell, I first received a phone call telling me they were a relay service for a deaf person wanting to buy my item. They then needed my email address for the deaf person to contact me.
The email writer wanted to send me a certified check for the item with extra money inclued. It instructed me to cash the check and then wire the extra money by Western Union to an address that would be later provided. The extra money was for a shipping company that would pick up the item and deliver it to the buyer.
The language in the email was suspicious:“I would be buying furniture you have..“
The addrress is: astros4realy2K@yahoo.com
I did not respond, but this certainly sounds like a scam to just be deleted.
