Touchdown Friday just a week away

We’re a week away from the debut of Touchdown Friday so that means its crunch time for high school teams. JH Rose held their scrimmage game last night and hosted conference rival New Bern.

Its going to be a little different for both teams this year.  They made a move from the Coastal 4A-3A to the Mid Eastern 4a Conference. They’ll be taking on all 4A opponents this season.  Both have been working hard this preseason and it showed last night. Both teams had speed. Ja-Rel Armstrong fakes the handoff & took it all the way into the end zone.

New Bern opens their season with Havelock. That will be Touchdown Friday’s Mountain Dew Game of the Week.  Rose opens up against powerhouse Southern Durham. They definitely have a big challenge up ahead but the Rampants seem to be ready for it
