They won a state title in 2007 and now the New Bern Bears open the season as the number one team in our Touchdown Friday Top Nine.

But hang on, because Craven County is loaded with football talent.  In fact, we’ve got the three Craven County schools ranked 1-2-3 to start the season.

And top ranked New Bern hosts number 3 Havelock for our Mountain Dew Game of the Week on Friday night.
