Twister hits retail stores in Beaumont, TX

Beaumont, TX (AP) - Back-to-school shopping took a turn for the worse in Beaumont, Texas.

A tornado touched down in a retail district.  The twister tossed around shopping carts in front of Wal-Mart and ripped apart the roof at a Kohl’s Department Store.  It also flipped some cars and trucks.  Several shoppers were hurt—but police say there were only minor injuries.
