New Exercise Equipment for School Walking Trail

Students at one school here in the east will have a new place to get some exercise and enjoy the outdoors. New exercise equipment is available, along a walking trial at Northwest Elementary School in Pitt County. Volunteers from ECU’s Construction Management Department designed and built the facility for a service learning project. All of the supplies and other items were donated. School officials say it's a great way for students to stay in shape; they plan on putting up nutrition facts and exercise tips at the stops along the trail.
