Several weeks ago we started airing Fugitive Files here on Channel 9.

Every week, Nine is On Your Side bringing you stories of wanted fugitives across the east.

And that brought a strong reaction from one viewer.

Here's this week's Viewer's Voice.

"Thank you Channel 9 news for a good update from the fugitive and getting those bad guys in jail. And thank you law enforcement and crime control and public safety for getting the bad guys in jail," says one caller on our Viewer’s Voice hotline.

Thanks for noticing our new Fugitive Files segment. So far, it's helped to put 5 criminals behind bars and we hope that our viewers will continue to make that happen as they watch the stories and call in tips to law enforcement.

But a viewer was also upset about another crime story we showed this week though; about a suspect accused of raping a four year old and getting out on bond.

"He needs to be put behind bars and stay behind bars and these people that sit in high places are not protecting our children," says another caller to Viewer’s Voice.

As we've often reported in our stories, the presumption in our system is that someone is innocent until proven guilty.

And from Leigh in Elm City, “I just want to tell you what a great job you guys are doing. If I needed anyone to help me, Channel 9 would be the channel and you people are great and you're my favorite channel."

We appreciate that and encourage your feedback on how we can serve our viewers and our community!

Thanks to all of you who called and wrote this week for Viewer’s Voice.
