In our Viewers Voice you took us to task for how student loans are dealt with at ECU and about programming on the C.W.
Over the years ECU has had some problems with long lines in the Financial Aid Office
We got this email from Nolen Caudell:
"Why is coverage by WNCT notoriously and historically absent when it comes to problems with the administration at ECU, especially now with the monumental Financial Aid Office’s incompetence? So much for "asking the hard questions" and getting to the bottom."
Well, Nolen just least week we reported on the latest complaints about lines at the Financial Aid Office and the schools response.
The fact is, we have done many stories over the years holding the administration at ECU accountable, just ask school spokesman John Durham about that.

Then Jimmie wrote "I was wondering when the local C.W. was going high def"
Well Jimmie, we are the C.W. plus station in the east, we asked them and they said by fall of 2009.

And finally a lot of you complained about our tornado warning weather cut-ins during Big Brother.
S.V. Cuthrell wrote: "My program was interrupted this evening for 18 minutes of a weather person rambling. I do understand you have a duty to inform the public of threatening weather, but 18 minutes of a program is excessive.”
Well, S.V. we agree, our coverage that night based on the weather that actually developed was more extreme than needed, and we have taken action on that.
Many times it is difficult to decide just how much coverage is appropriate because we cover such a large area of the east.
But if it is a question between a threat to life and property or a T.V. program, we will always err on the side of too much coverage rather than too little.
