The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office needs your help to recover two 14-foot Jon Boats taken from the Hwy 70 E. and Hwy 11 S. area.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office needs your help to recover two 14-foot Jon Boats taken from the Hwy 70 E. and Hwy 11 S. area.

One of the boats was first reported missing on July 23rd. It’s a 1985 Fisher 14-foot aluminum, NC Registration Number: NC-4049BF, Hull Number FMC74429H586. This boat is brown/tan in color and has minor damage from a fallen tree. The trailer is 1986 aluminum Sike, NC Registration W40262 S/N SMFG 6132086. There is a 1986 6 HP Johnson outboard motor mounted on it as well.

The other boat was reported stolen on August 15th. It’s a 1962 14-foot Jon Boat NC Registration Number: NC 1508DD, Hull Number NCZ36064C66Z. This boat is. The trailer is a Skipper with NC Registration Plate BS 51378. There is a 25 HP Suzuki outboard motor attached green in color. S/N 680136.
