In Nash County, officials say a joint investigation has put a major drug dealer behind bars.
They arrested Gavino Mendoza of Rocky Mount, after officers say they stopped him with about one kilo of cocaine and $1,500 cash.
Investigators say they searched his home and found more than 1,400 grams of cocaine and $45,000 in cash.
Mendoza is in jail under two million dollars bond.
