Beaufort County Sheriff's Office looks for man charged with fraud

The Beaufort County Sheriff’s office is looking for Adrian Darcel Slade, age 49.

Adrian Darcel Slade, age 49, of Pantego has been charged with one count of obtaining property by false pretenses after being paid to do repairs on someone’s home, and not following up on the job.

The cast began back in July when the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office first received a report of fraud from the victims, but Slade has yet to be found.

If you have any information about Slade’s whereabouts, please call the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office at 252.946.7111 or Crime Stoppers at 252.974.6400. Calls to Crime Stoppers can be anonymous and Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 in rewards for information leading to his arrest.
