The Craven County Sheriff’s Office and Vanceboro Police Department tell Nine On Your Side they’ve made arrests in two separate break-ins.
The arrests stem from an investigation into a breaking and entering at the Super Stop & Shop in Vanceboro. While investigating, authorities received a call about an ongoing breaking an entering at the A&E Stop and Shop, also in Vanceboro.
A van used in a previous breaking and entering led to the suspect’s capture. They were found sleeping in a green 1995 Ford Aerostar on Main Street.
The stolen goods from both breaking and enterings were in plain view.
They’ve charged Armondo Godoy and Jaun Hernandez, both of Greenville, N.C., with 3 Counts Breaking and Entering and Larceny; Possession of stolen property and Injury to personal property.
Bond is set at $20,000 each and a first appearance is scheduled for today.
