It's back to court for the former State Representative Thomas Wright.

The now convicted felon is expected to return to Wake County Superior Court today for trial on an outstanding obstruction of justice charge.

Prosecutors say Wright violated North Carolina's campaign finance laws by failing to report more than 180-thousand dollars in campaign contributions.

An attorney close to the case says he expects the trial will last two or three days.
