Viewer's Voice: Christmas Edition

It's no surprise that Christmas was on many of your minds this week, and that's why this edition of Viewers Voice has a holiday theme.

Here's what some of you had to say to us, this week.

“I have contacted you before and expected that you would change. I am still waiting to hear someone at your station say the magic words "Merry Christmas". You refer to it as a holiday.
We hear a happy Thanksgiving, 4th of July, New Year etc, but no Merry Christmas,” said Thomas Belcher.

Actually, we do acknowledge both Christmas Eve, and Christmas day on the air here at channel 9.

And keeping with the Christmas holiday theme, Carolyn Briley had a strong response to the story we ran about an angel people believe was caught on surveillance video at a Charlotte hospital. A family credited that angel with a sick girl's recovery.

Carolyn wrote:
“The appearance of the hospital angel was not only touching but it was confirmation as well. My faith in God has always led me to believe that angels are dwelling among us, helping us, protecting us. The scene was really uplifting and shows the love, peace, and happiness that the true meaning of Christmas brings. Thanks Channel 9 for airing it.”

Thanks, Carolyn! We noticed that a majority of those who responded to our web poll said that they believe in angels.

And this week we enjoyed many greetings from viewers, like this one from David: "Happy Holidays to all of you."
