Murder Suspect Makes First Court Appearance in Stabbing Case

An accused murderer had his first day in court Tuesday morning in Carteret County.

Deputies arrested 41-year-old Troy McLean Monday night.

They accuse him of murdering his boyfriend, Alexander Harkley, in Harkley's home on Saturday morning.

Investigators believe McLean stabbed Harkley to death because he was jealous when he saw Harkley with another man.

McLean is still in jail under no bond.

His next court appearance is March 11^th.
