Old Navy Statement

»  Comments | Post a Comment

  • All of us at Old Navy are deeply troubled and disturbed by the actions of this former employee.

  • From the first moment we were alerted to this incident by a customer, we have cooperated fully and completely with local law enforcement.

  • Our top priority is ensuring Old Navy customers feel safe and comfortable in our stores.

  • The former employee involved was immediately terminated, and we conducted our own investigation as well.

  • Old Navy conducts pre-employment screening for employees in our stores, including the former employee involved in this.  This person did not have a criminal background when he was hired.

  • Of course, if we ever become aware of an incident like this, we will work with law enforcement to ensure appropriate action is taken.

  • All of us at Old Navy are sorry that this incident occurred, and encourage any concerned customer to call us at 1-800-OLD-NAVY if they have any questions or concerns.
