School Redistricting Meeting

»  Comments | Post a Comment

With the opening of a new elementary school this fall, the Pitt County Board of Education is deciding how to fill it up. Parents have complained about several plans. Tonight the board held a public hearing at South Central High School so people could express their thoughts. Only three people got up to speak and all preferred option 4B. This plan would keep several neighborhoods at their current school: W.H. Robinson. The board did not take any action tonight, and plans to vote at the next meeting.
