Earlier today, at approximately 1:00pm, investigators from the Onslow County Sheriff's Office generated an investigative lead as to the whereabouts of Cesar Laurean's truck. Investigators from our Office contacted law enforcement in the area and asked them to follow up on the information.
Investigators near Raleigh, NC were able to confirm that the vehicle was in fact the truck that the Sheriff's Office was looking for in the apprehension effort of Cesar Laurean. The vehicle was located at a Microtel Inn in Morrisville,NC.
Investigators are continuing to follow up on investigative leads in the area. No other information is available at this time.
