NCDOT Holding Draft 2009-2015 Transportation Plan Public Comment Meeting Jan. 29 In Jacksonville

WHAT: Public meeting for 2009-2015 Draft State Transportation Improvement Program

WHEN: Tuesday, Jan. 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. Registration will begin one hour prior to the meeting.

WHERE:   City Hall

                   Council Chambers

                   815 New Bridges St., Jacksonville

COMMENTS: The N.C. Department of Transportation is asking for public comment on the 2009-2015 Draft State Transportation Improvement Program, the department’s seven-year blueprint for transportation projects across the state.
This meeting will provide an opportunity for citizens to talk with department staff about the Draft STIP and the transportation projects it details for their area. Individuals may also submit comments and feedback for consideration in the Final 2009-2015 STIP at the meeting, online or through the mail.
The Draft STIP is available online at www.ncdot.org/~tip. Comments can be submitted from this site. Mail comments to: NCDOT STIP Unit, 1534 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-1534.
