WASHINGTON (AP) - Former President Bill Clinton says he enjoys the bickering between his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Barack Obama.
Speaking at a church in South Carolina, he says the two Democratic presidential hopefuls are "flesh and blood people," and they have their differences. The two engaged in a testy debate yesterday in Myrtle Beach.
Clinton also says he thinks it would be just as much of a change, and maybe more, to have the first woman president than to have the first black president.
Obama is accusing Hillary Clinton and her husband of spending the last month attacking him with inaccurate statements. He says it's part of her campaign strategy.
Meantime, the New York senator says Obama came to the debate "looking for a fight" with "rehearsed points."
