Clinton, McCain lead national poll

»  Comments | Post a Comment

(AP) - Republican John McCain may have the best chance to beat either one of the two Democratic front-runners for the White House in the fall.

A new Los Angeles Times-Bloomberg poll shows McCain even with Barack Obama and just four points behind Hillary Clinton.

Clinton and Obama each lead the other GOP contenders by more than 10 points in the survey.

The poll also finds that about two-thirds of the Democrats surveyed say they're locked in on a candidate. Only about half the Republicans are certain.
