Nine On Your Side has new information in the manhunt for Cesar Acosta.
Craven County Sheriff Jerry Monette tells us the White GMC Sierra Crew Cab the suspect is believed to be driving has a chrome tool box in the back as well as an orange fuel tank and the front license plate displays Superior Land & Timber.
The suspect, Cesar Acosta, may also be known as Geraldo Cesar Acosta Martinez.
The Sheriff's Department believes he took his wife and small child with him. The wife may have family in the Raleigh area.
The victim is now identified as Eustorgio Ramirez, age 38.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of Geraldo Cesar Acosta Martinez, you're asked to call the Sheriff's office at 636-6620.
One follow-up to this story, the suspect, Geraldo Cesar Acosta Martinez, was released from prison in 2006 after serving a life sentence for 2nd degree murder. At that time, he was to be turned over to US Imigration for deportation.
