CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - No injuries were reported when the firearm of a U.S. Transportation Security Administration flight deck officer fired accidentally on a US Airways flight.
The Charlotte Observer reported Sunday that a statement from the airline said it was cooperating with law enforcement in the investigation. Flight 1536 from Denver to Charlotte landed at 11:51 a.m. Saturday.
There were 124 passengers and five pilots and flight attendants on the plane.
