BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (AP) - Drew Peterson is jobless and has no prospects. He spends his days taking care of his children, and he does it knowing that many people believe he killed his last two wives.
It has been nearly five months since Peterson's fourth wife, Stacy, vanished. He's been named a suspect in her disappearance and authorities are also trying to determine if he was involved in the 2004 death of his ex-wife, Kathleen Savio.
The former suburban Chicago police sergeant tells The Associated Press he's "very lonely" without Stacy and is arranging for relatives to take care of his children if he's arrested.
Peterson admits some of his behavior might appear strange, although he also blames the news media for portraying him as a "sinister character lurking around underneath rocks."
