New Information About Teacher in Trouble with the Law

New information tonight about a New Bern High School teacher accused of assaulting two female students. The Winston-Salem Journal reports Phillip Beeson was suspended without pay 10 years ago while he was a teacher at East Forsyth High. Another teacher was accused of video taping himself having sex with two female students and then showing the tape to other teachers. Beeson and several teachers new and didn't say anything. This week, police arrested Beeson on charges he inappropriately touched to female students at New Bern High where he taught social studies and coached the girl’s basketball team. He was put on paid administrative leave in February.
