On October 10, 2004, Orlando Peterson was found in his residence at 217 Terrace Court dead from a gunshot. On April 24, 2008, based on new information developed by Greenville Police Detectives, warrants were obtained for Trawn Joval Rodgers, age 27 of 1116 Old Village Rd. Greenville, NC charging him with murder and first degree burglary in that case. Detectives believe robbery was the motive in this incident.
Greenville Police Patrol Officers arrested Rodgers on May 2, 2008. Rodgers is being held in the Pitt County Detention Center.
Additional arrests are anticipated in this case.
