Transit systems across the state and here in the east are also getting some money.
The N.C. Board of Transportation awarded more than 38-million dollars in federal funds for 13 transit systems.
Greenville's area transits system will get 600-thousand dollars in funds for the expansion of two buses.
Other areas in our state include Raleigh, Wilmington, Winston Salem and Greensboro.
