The 2008 Sounds of Freedom Air Show takes off at Marine Corps Air Station New River on Saturday, but the media and dozens of area school kids got a sneak peak at rehearsals Friday. The show is billed as a the meeting place for the past and the present – and while Nine On Your Side gives you a look at Marine Corps planes and helicopters in action at 6, 10 and 11, we’ll also introduce you to a retired Marine who was reunited with a T-28B Trojan plane much like the one he flew in flight school 30 years ago.
